Kathy Ann Wolverton began her professional career as a television news producer. After years of reporting on the problems of others, she was drawn to the challenge of being more involved in solving those problems. For Kathy Ann, ensuring that her clients’ needs are heard and fully realized is the most important aspect of her job. No matter what type of legal challenge a client is experiencing, understanding what they want out of their case and hearing their fears and concerns is what makes a person a great legal professional. This, she says, is what she tries to accomplish every day.
As a dedicated Medical Malpractice attorney on Long Island, she takes great joy in the research aspect of law, and loves being able to find the perfect decision to win a case. Kathy Ann works to stay current on all new developments in the laws relevant to her practice areas to ensure that she is fully prepared for anything that could come her way.
Kathy Ann grew up in Oneonta, NY, and attended Ithaca College and Albany Law School. Her hobbies include reading, baking, and rooting for her favorite sports teams - particularly Farmingdale State College where her husband is the President. Her involvement in the community includes Past Chair of the WAMC Northeast Public Radio Community Advisory Board; Past President of the American Cancer Society, Albany Region Board of Advisors; and, Farmingdale State College volunteer.
